Suppliers meeting at Haskins Ferndown

Earlier this week, a few members of the Urban Pest Control team met up with Tim from one of our main suppliers, Killgerm, to discuss some of the products on the market and how we can expand product options to our valued customers for their pest control needs in Ferndown.

Haskins Garden Centre in Ferndown provided us with the perfect setting for a networking event, the bright, contemporary restaurant offered us a spacious environment with the privacy we required along with a comfortable and focused atmosphere. We were lucky to visit on a clear sunny day however I feel even on a dull day the adorning peace lilies in the restaurant and the backdrop from the garden centre with its array of vibrant sessional produce would brighten the tone for any successful event.
The inviting aroma of coffee and the sight of the tantalising cakes welcoming you into the restaurant area was a treat for the senses. With an extensive range of sweet and savoury mouth-watering items there is enough variety to suit every one’s needs no matter the size of their appetite. We were certainly spoilt for choice.

Networking opportunities such as meeting our suppliers are vital for our team members. Not only did this provide us with the chance to evaluate current products, but it also gave us an insight into a few new innovative technologies and training opportunities. These will keep our technicians up to date with the best practices, which is key in a constantly evolving industry like pest control. Ultimately, it ensures we deliver effective, professional pest control in Ferndown and the surrounding areas.
