Competition Winner Vicky Meets Hope the Hawk
Our recent competition to find the perfect name for our new Harris Hawk received a great response with loads of fantastic entries, and we absolutely love the name Hope which was suggested by Vicky Gowans. As a prize for suggesting the winning selection Vicky was awarded tickets to Dorset Falconry Park along with the opportunity to meet Hope in person.
Last week Vicky and her family made it along to cash in her prize. They got to enjoy the amazing Xtreme Falconry show before having the chance to finally meet Hope. Accompanied by Martin from Dorset Falconry Park and our very own in-house falconer Ryan, Vicky and Hope finally met face to face for the very first time. It was a fantastic moment to witness and we’re sure Hope enjoyed getting to meet the person responsible for naming her!

It was great to visit Martin and Ryan along with Hope this morning at Xtreme Falconry. Their passion and knowledge around the birds was amazing. Hope was beautiful and I cannot wait to see her growing up. I would recommend this lovely place for everyone out there that love their birds!!!!! It was great to see how Urban Pest Control work alongside Martin with sharing their knowledge and experience. I will definitely be visiting this friendly, welcoming place again, and I will look forward to all the updates on Hope’s progress.
