Our New Hawk Has Her Name!

We asked for help naming our lovely new Harris Hawk and you certainly didn’t let us down!

Up for grabs to the person whose name we liked the most was two adult tickets to the fantastic Xtreme Falconry at Dorset Falconry Park, as well as the chance to meet our newly-named hawk in person.

With these amazing prizes on the line it was no surprise that we were completely inundated with loads of great suggestions. There were plenty of excellent and creative names put forward, with inspirations ranging from the royal family and beloved celebrities to world famous sports stars and even your favourite grandparents, as well as some clever puns thrown in there for good measure!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everybody who entered. We really wish we could choose each and every one of you to win, unfortunately though we only have one hawk in need of a name! So without further ado, we’re very happy to announce that our hawk is now officially called… Hope!

The winning name was suggested by Vicky Gowans, who wins the tickets to Dorset Falconry Park and an exclusive opportunity to meet Hope. Vicky said that Hope was the perfect name after such a challenging year and we couldn’t agree more!
