Urban Pest Control Christmas Party 2023
We kicked off the festive season in style, joining our friends from Malum Southern Pest & Bird Control at our team Christmas party. This year, we chose the Boom Battle Bar in Bournemouth to try our hand at axe throwing – not as easy as you may think! In fact, as the evening progressed, we somehow became worse at hitting the target. Maybe it was a case of beginners’ luck, but it was still good fun.
Our next activity of the evening was Augmented Reality Darts. With a few members of the group being dart players, this really brought out the competitive spirit .Divided into three teams, each with a dartboard, we chose various interactive games such as Killer, Robin Hood, and Disco Wall. While it’s safe to say none of us are coming for Luke Humphries’ Grand Slam darts title any time soon, the team was happy just to beat our resident “professionals.”
After the games were completed, and the winners had celebrated their hard-earned victory, we headed around the corner to Sixty Million Postcards for a delicious three-course meal. The options included the Jingle Buns Burger (beef), the Merry Chickmas Burger (chicken), both served with a festive twist, or a traditional Turkey Roast. Following the meal, accompanied by plenty of drinks to celebrate the occasion, we enjoyed the DJ banging out the tunes as we danced through the night.
It was fantastic to have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas as a team and look back on another successful year of providing high quality pest control services to our valued clients. Rest assured we are all fully rested and recovered after our Christmas celebrations and back to work tackling any pest issues you may have!
